Katy Perry shows off dramatic makeover as she announces comeback

Katy Perry has been added to the performance roster at the Grammy Awards. On Monday, a very blonde Katy Perry announced that she'll be joining the ranks of Adele, Chance the Rapper, the Weeknd, Daft Punk, John Legend, et al. Katy Perry's an absolute delight, isn't she? Her most recent album, Prism, came out in 2013. Lately, Perry has been showing off her new blonde look on Instagram, cleverly captioned: "new life who dis?". Can I stream the Grammys live? I don't want to jump on any trends. If the timing were different, her appearance might have been part of a collaboration, but when combined with the evidence below, new music seems more likely. She is, however, up against Adele's top-selling "25" release in all three of those categories. Although Blonde was one of the best-reviewed albums of past year - and made Mic's best of list - Ocean chose to not submit his own albums because he feels the Grammys are dated.
