Google Maps has added a new list-making feature that lets users save locations to a specified list so that it can be accessed later - even offline - and shared with other users.
Users can save places to previously created lists like "Want to Go", "Favorite", or create their own like "For Girls Night", "Restaurant Tour 2017", or "Summer Vacation". To recall the lists you've created, go to Your Places (in the side menu) and then open the saved tab.
As Starred locations previously behaved, all of your saved locations in any list will appear on the map when you're regularly using Google Maps.
Trump's Team Talked to a Russian Official About Sanctions Before His Inauguration
Once Obama issued these harsher sanctions on Russia, Putin had even more incentive to ensure that Trump won the election. The controversy drew in Vice President Mike Pence after he publicly denied sanctions had been discussed .
Once you've got a list created, you can easily share it with friends and family though pretty much any means that you'd like - including SMS, email, Twitter, Allo, iMessage, etc. From there, you can edit lists or share them with another person through a variety of options.
The lists feature is now live in the latest version of the Google Maps app for iOS and Android. Just create a list like "Best Views in San Francisco", for instance, and share it whenever someone asks.
The ability to see icons saved on the map will also come in handy for friends looking for places when on a road trip.
'Shame!': Education Secretary DeVos blocked by protesters in first school visit
Public schools are "the foundation of our society, that's how everybody learns what's right and wrong", Schwartz said . I will work with her to improve our schools and to return more control over educational policies to states .
The shared lists could also offer greater potential for tourism boards as well as travel and hospitality brands.
Your lists can be built around a specific event ("Spring Break" or "Portland trip 2017") and include all the places you want to hit up.
The idea behind Lists is very simple, and it's surprising that it has taken this long for Google to bring such a feature to Maps. First we got in-app Uber hailing, then a parking availability feature that helped us plan ahead for places that don't have dedicated spaces.
