The iPhone 8 May Cost $1000 and Ditch the Lightning Cable

While the display will allow for a new curved edge on the device, the iPhone itself won't be bendable or foldable because of rigid internal components. Apparently Apple was happy with they came up with, so it will go forward with plans to build and sell an iPhone model with a curved OLED panel sometime this year. The iPhone 7S and 7S Plus will retain the standard LCD displays.

The Lighting port has also proliferated across many of Apple's other accessories, including the Apple Pencil, the Magic Keyboard, the Magic Mouse 2, the Magic Trackpad 2, and the Lightning earbuds that ship with the iPhone 7. Of course, it's also possible that Apple is simply prototyping a USB-C iPhone model and will ultimately decide to stick with Lightning. USB Type C ports are being widely used in the mobile phone markets around the globe.

We'd certainly love to see Apple jump on the USB-C bandwagon, would you?

While Hibbert looks adorable in a black T-shirt, it's Rhodes, Ali and Sanders that are making the internet swoon. But the real star here isn't just the clothes-it's the personalities in front of the lens.

The iPhone 8 is expected to cost north of $1,000 (or approx Rs 67,000) and it will drop the traditional home button, and replace it with a touch-enabled area near the bottom of the screen. That is a lot of money for even someone habituated to Apple devices.

Separately, earlier this month, noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that Apple has three new wireless charging iPhones scheduled for this year.

Other recent rumors about Apple's iPhone upgrades include a camera that can sense depth on the front of the phone, producing 3D selfies and also enabling accurate facial recognition.
