"Saturday Night Live" may just have found the secret to finally winning an Emmy this year after a 24-year drought. Each will star the current co-hosts, Michael Che and Colin Jost, along with "additional" cast member appearances. While Che and Jost, who now host the segment, will continue as the lead anchors, other SNL cast-members will make appearances, as well. Title aside, the shows will air on Thursday nights at 9 ET/PT starting August 10. Starting Thursday, Aug. 10, anchors Michael Che and Colin Jost will bring SNL's venerable fake news segment to prime time. This makes the current season SNL's highest-rated since the 2008-09 season, which not so coincidentally timed with the 2008 presidential election between candidates then-Sen.
Congress couldn't get numbers, can't cry foul now, says BJP
The bench said the Congress has failed to show affidavits of support from the smaller parties. Besides, the Congress had not made Parikkar a party in the petition.
LOS ANGELES - "Saturday Night Live" gets the summer off, but "Weekend Update" will keep the political satire coming in prime time.
Oil steadies below $49 as USA drilling threatens longer glut
Oil steadied below $49 a barrel as US drillers continued to boost activity, countering OPEC's efforts to drain a global glut. That was the day OPEC announced lower production targets for the first half of 2017, sending crude prices hurtling higher.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC's entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said, "SNL is having its best season in a quarter of a century - how many shows can say that?! - so we didn't want them to take the summer off". The segment will be made into half-hour episodes to air on prime time starting August 10. Versus year-ago averages, SNL is up +21% in adult 18-49 rating and up 2.2 million persons or +26% in total viewers. Politico first reported last month that NBC will be exploring a weekly "Weekend Update" series to "help NBC capitalize on a topsy turvy news cycle".

At one point in the season, during December, he was removed from the starting lineup, and was a backup for Tom Savage. Sources tell the Associated Press the Texans are trading the quarterback to the Cleveland Browns.
