April the giraffe welcomes much-anticipated calf

Ever since April the giraffe went viral, zoo officials have said they would hold a social media contest to name the newborn. Millions have viewed the livestream since it started in late February.

For over two months now, so many of us have been focusing a frankly ridiculous amount of attention on a pregnant giraffe living in a NY zoo. Fans have kept up with her for weeks as she anticipated the birth of her fourth calf.

Adventure Park's YouTube streaming of 15-year-old April the giraffe is capturing the moment live.

Russia, Iran and Syria issue warning to US
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem welcomed global inspectors to visit the base Washington said served as a platform for the attack.

April, who had been due to give birth in January or February at Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, in western NY, was pregnant for at least 16 months, compared with the typical gestation period of 15 months, according to zoo officials.

A NY zoo's livestream video of its pregnant giraffe is showing her giving birth.

Right now, the calf is with April in her enclosure, getting lots of love and attention from both his mother and his father, who's in the enclosure right next door. The money will be used for the care of the animals.

Bilic says Irons must be… West Ham united
Despite all the public backing from his board via the media, Slaven Bilic's position at West Ham now isn't the most comfortable. The lead was doubled in the 68th minute as Ozil turned provider to pick out Walcott, who side-footed home from 12-yards out.

The gender of the calf has not been known through April's pregnancy. A Farmington, New Hampshire, songwriter even posted a music video on YouTube called, "I'm Going Crazy Waiting (For A Giraffe)".

His name is Oliver and he's not so much involved, so says the park.

The park is now closed to the public and will open in mid-May.

Jared Kushner omits some foreign contacts on security form
Former Trump political adviser Roger Stone has accused Kushner of leaking unfavorable stories about Bannon. Bannon and Priebus did not immediately respond to the Journal's requests for comment.

Though details of the calf are scarce, the Associated Press notes, newborn giraffes typically weigh around 150 pounds and are about 6 feet at birth.
