Dallas chosen by Uber as first United States city to test flying cars

As Dubai's sky gears up to welcome flying cars in July with active cooperation from Chinese-firm E-Hang, world famous ride-hailing company Uber has also chose to jump onto the bandwagon and test flying cars in Dubai and Dallas in 2020.

It has been some time since Uber revealed its VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) craft plans. He imagined it taking just a few minutes to get from the airport to a hotel instead of a half-hour or more, and the company wants to target pricing that's competitive with Uber X right now for a trip of the same distance.

Also announced at the event was Uber's collaboration with electric vehicle charging-point provider ChargePoint, which will develop charging stations for the eVTOLs in the years to come.

Logan Black & White Theatrical Release Date Announced
As for details about where this black and white version will actually be playing, that's yet to be revealed. And really, we would be up for seeing it again on the big screen just to watch X-23 in action.

The ride-sharing company plans to run trials in the U.S. city of Dallas and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Not content with its land-based ride service, the company believes its vision for flying taxis will make air transportation a part of our daily lives in the future. In fact, the company aims for the 2020 World Expo in Dubai to launch their Uber Elevate Network demonstration.

Hillwood Properties has partnered with Uber to develop three hubs, also known as vertiports, by 2020 for these aircraft. Uber is working on developing an exclusive charger for its network. "We have already built and flown the first proof-of-concept aircraft and we're excited to partner with Uber in accelerating the eVTOL initiative".

Chargers Draft: Was The Mike Williams Pick a Mistake for LA?
Telesco also said the Chargers had discussions about trading down, but made a decision to stay put and take Williams at No. 7. "He's a great quarterback and I am looking forward to getting to the facility and start catching balls from him".

"What started as a simple question - 'why can't I push a button and get a ride? - has turned, for Uber, into a passionate pursuit of the pinnacle of urban mobility." sad Jeff Holden, chief product officer, Uber.

But Uber customers have said the plan seems more science fiction than science fact.

Uber is working on its flying cars from the past year. US electric vehicle charging station maker ChargePoint will work on an exclusive charger for Uber's network, while Bell Helicopter, Aurora, Pipistrel, Mooney, and Embraer will develop the flying taxis.
