Google Fuschia Is A Third Pillar OS after Android and Chrome OS

Next week, the 2017 edition of the Google I/O developers conference gets underway. Kyle Bradshaw over at Hotfix and the folks over at Ars Technica managed to compile the UI and as a result, we can take a look at Google's new user interface. Two Google developers linked to the project, Christopher Anderson and Brian Swetland, are both experts in embedded systems - computers with single, specific functions and no need for a complex operating system or user interface. In addition to this, we have come to know that the operating system's interface will be known as Armadillo. Flutter apps are written in Dart, Google's reboot of JavaScript which focuses on high-performance 120fps applications on mobile.

Last year, Google was reported by The Wall Street Journal to be merging Chrome OS and parts of Android to create "Andromeda", one OS to rule them all.

AAP 'Demonstrates EVM Tampering' in Delhi Assembly
Claiming that it was possible to hack the machines, Sisodia said EVM-tampering tantamounts to a "conspiracy to murder democracy". The house concluded by passing a resolution urging the president and the election commission to endorse VVPAT in all EVMs.

The Funchsia OS has been leaked in images and a video, courtesy Ars Technica, and it shows how the new operating system looks like on a smartphone. One can also expand the user profile by tapping on it to access various options like Volume, Airplane Mode, Auto-Rotate, battery and SIM info, etc. You can see some Google design in the cards and some of the other design elements, but the UI is different than those now found on Android and iOS.

Instead of static apps, Armadillo offers a card-centric interface that users can scroll downwards through to view Armadillo stories, which are a "set of apps and/or modules that work together for the user to achieve a goal". It's been picking up steam recently, with a new logo and UI, but it has apparently progressed a little further now and there's more screenshots of the Armadillo UI. That also means that Amradillo can run on an Android device.

North Korea, ex-U.S. officials meet for informal talks
The school offers free education to children of the North Korean elite, many of whom would otherwise be sent overseas for school. He also holds a USA passport and Chinese citizenship, and is known for extensive missionary work as an evangelical Christian.

Android has always been very adept at multitasking and if these glimpses of Fuchsia actually pan out, you can expect an even more powerful approach to running multiple apps simultaneously. However, the company has been quietly developing a new in-house OS dubbed Fuchsia. This is slightly risky for Google as we can see with the recent, and possibly still ongoing Oracle vs Google legal stoush over Java.

When apps are opened, they appear to "hover" over the underlying operating system. While Android is a wonderful mobile OS in its own right, licensing issues, JavaScript, and its roots in the mobile ecosystem of 2008 have caused Google trouble and tied the OS down in the past.
