New sexual battery charge filed against USF football player

Former USF defensive end LaDarrius Jackson was arrested Wednesday for the second time this month after another sexual assault accusation. Those were the same charges filed against him during a May 1 arrest. According to the Times, the victim told detectives that Jackson 'grabbed her, forcefully removed her clothing against her will and committed sexual battery'.

LaDarrius Jackson, 22, was again charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment, after a Hillsborough County woman reported that he assaulted her, the Tampa Bay Times reported. He played two games for the Bulls last season in his first year with the team after transferring in from Hinds Community College. The report said that the victim didn't attempt to leave because she was afraid Jackson was going to physically stop her. At the hearing, Hillsborough County judge Margaret Taylor lashed out at Jackson and USF coach Charlie Strong, questioning whether the new coach had control over his team.

To appease the 6-foot-4, 248-pound defensive end, the woman began to wash her hair in her bathtub while remaining clothed, the Sheriff's Office said.

Detectives said Jackson then forced the victim drive to a nearby pharmacy for emergency contraceptive and made her take it in front of him.

He then pushed her onto the bed and forced her to perform sex, the sheriff's office said.
