Senate Panel Probes Alleged Comment by Obama's Attorney General Lynch

Have you ever had communications with Rep. Wasserman Schultz, her staff, or her associates, about then-Attorney General Lunch's role in the Clinton email investigation? The language matched the specific rhetoric used at the time by Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, which referred to the criminal investigation as a "matter".

The issue essentially died when Trump defeated Clinton but resurfaced a few weeks ago when former FBI Director James Comey testified on Capitol Hill that he was uncomfortable with the tarmac meeting.

The FBI was investigating whether Clinton mishandled classified information over her private server while serving as secretary of state. "Lynch would keep the Clinton investigation from going too far.'" Subsequent reporting by the Washington Post indicated that Lynch, who served as attorney general during the Obama administration, had privately told a Clinton staffer that the investigation would not "go too far".

Lionel Messi 'Could Swap Tax Fraud Jail Sentence For Fine'
Spain's Supreme Court rejected in May an appeal by the Barcelona football star and stood by a Catalan regional court's 21-month prison sentence.

"Graham and the Senators seek details about the reported communication, copies of any related documents and whether the Federal Bureau of Investigation contacted them to investigate the alleged communication", Graham's spokesperson wrote in a statement on Friday afternoon.

In that email, the committee said that Waserman Schultz admitted Lynch had private talks with a senior Clinton campaign staffer, Amanda Renteria. Lynch refused to comment on the report.

The FBI reportedly met Lynch for a conversation about the document, though officials assured her it "didn't have investigative value", the Post reported.

McCain: Americans 'stupid' to travel to North Korea
Doctors last week said Warmbier had suffered severe neurological injuries, for which tests did not conclusively reveal the cause . The U.S. side is expected to press China to cooperate on a further toughening of global sanctions on North Korea .

"Still, the document, according to The Washington Post, factored into then-FBI Director James Comey's controversial decision to publicly announce the end of the Clinton email investigation - without discussing it in advance with Lynch", CBS News writes.

Lynch and former president Bill Clinton (center-right) met on an airport tarmac in Arizona a year ago, but insisted they never discussed Hillary's pending case. Lindsey Graham and Sheldon White House, the chair and ranker on the subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism.

Similar letters by the committee leader were sent to Open Society Foundations' General Counsel Gail Scovell, Renteria, and Open Society Fellowship's Leonard Bernardo seeking details about reported communication and copies of any related documents.

MSCI Could Usher China Markets Into the Big Time
Investors on the wrong side of the market swing may have to consider what may be in store over the next few months. President Mauricio Macri lifted capital controls since taking office in December 2015, but MSCI wanted to wait.

That backlash ultimately led Lynch to say she would accept the findings of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and career prosecutors who were investigating Clinton's use of a private email server while she was secretary of state. Lynch had attempted to change the way the Federal Bureau of Investigation described its probe of Mrs. Clinton's use of a private email server.
