Utah Nurse Forcefully Dragged From Hospital and Arrested For Doing Her Job

Nurse Alex Wubbels is shown shouting for help as she is placed under arrest, manhandled out of the hospital doors and handcuffed, before being bundled into the back of a patrol vehicle.

At that point, the officer states "we're done, you're under arrest" and is shown advancing on Ms Wubbels who backs away screaming and is heard to shout: "Help!"

The dispute ended with Payne telling the nurse she was under arrest and physically moving her out of the hospital while she screamed, "Help! Stop! Stop! I did nothing wrong!" as Payne drags her to a patrol vehicle and with two onlooking law enforcement officers. Jeff Payne came into University Hospital's Burn Unit where she was working as a charge nurse on July 26 and asked for access to the patient to take blood for an investigation.

Payne said he was advised by his commander on duty to arrest the nurse for interfering with a police investigation, according to the Tribune.

But because the truck driver was not a suspect in the crash, and likely wouldn't face charges, Payne didn't have probable cause or a warrant to take the blood from the patient, who was in a coma.

US Shoots Down Medium-Range Ballistic Missile In Hawaii Test
The previous test in June involved the John Paul Jones firing SM-3 missiles at a ballistic target, and was not successful. A Standard Missile-3 Block IIA jointly developed by the USA and Japan failed to intercept its target.

The video footage shows Wubbels, who has worked at University Hospital since 2009, calling several hospital officials who repeated the policy on taking blood from an unconscious patient. Meanwhile, Nurse Wubbels is being called a hero for the way that she protected her patient based on the law, and the firing of the officers involved has become a rallying cry.

"A blood draw, it just gets thrown around there like it's some simple thing", Wubbels said Thursday, according to the Desert News.

He is seen pulling her arms behind her and places handcuffs around her wrists before yanking her to the back of the patrol auto.

A Utah nurse and her attorney have released video footage showing an officer roughly arresting her at University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.

"I just feel betrayed, I feel angry and I feel a lot of things", said Wubbels during a press conference. She told the Tribune that she'd heard of other health care workers being bullied by police and noted that her video proves there is a major problem.

The feature will initially work with Amazon Music, iHeartRadio and Pandora, and support for Spotify and SiriusXM is rolling out. Now users will be able to play music across their multiple Echo devices around the house.

In Payne's version of the event, which he submitted as a written report, he contends that he explained the "exigent circumstances and implied consent law" to Wubbels. "We're done", the officer said.

SHOCKING footage has emerged of a nurse being brutally handcuffed by cops for refusing to take blood from an unconscious patient.

"We've looked at our policies and we want to take steps to make sure something like this doesn't happen again", said Sgt. Brandon Shearer.

Utah American Civil Liberties Union spokesperson Anna Brower Thomas said Wubbels hired ACLU attorney Karra Porter to represent her. Payne was suspended from active duty pending an internal investigation.
