Rams All-Pro Tackle Aaron Donald Abruptly Ends His Holdout

Though the team and Donald's representation have not yet come to terms on a contract extension, both sides will continue to work to reach a solution.

Todd Gurley admits fantasy football comments get 'annoying'

Donald missed all of training camp and the preseason with the hope of landing a new contract, but the Rams agreed to waive the $1.48 million in fines if he reported to the team on Saturday, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.

The holdout for Donald ends without a contract, which means it could be tough for the Rams to keep the defensive tackle when his rookie deal expires.

Police shoot, kill tiger running loose in neighborhood
Officials say the owners of a tiger shot and killed early Wednesday after being spotted on Interstate 75 have been identified. Gerri Yoder, Henry County's animal control director said: 'No idea where she (the tiger ) belonged. "This is a sad day".

Donald will be on the Rams' active roster Sunday despite not playing. Currently, he's scheduled to make just $1.802 million, a bargain for the Rams but a pittance for a player of Donald's caliber.

Donald did pass his physical, which PFT reported, but Donald is still at least one week, if not more from being in game shape. He has accrued 28 sacks and been voted to the Pro Bowl in each of his three seasons. He was the AP's defensive rookie of the year as a first-round pick in St. Louis in 2014, and the 6-foot dynamo has only improved. The Rams have converted to a new defensive scheme under Wade Phillips.
