James Woods' most controversial Twitter moments: A short history

The film, which hits theaters on November 24, already achieved critical acclaim at Sundance and at this weekend's Toronto International Film Festival, and it depicts a relationship between a 24-year-old and 17-year-old in 1980s Italy.

"James Woods tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once", the actress wrote on Twitter Monday.

Indeed, Woods was 59 when he began dating 19-year-old Ashley Madison. He then started dating 20-year-old Kristen Bauguess when he was 66 and they reportedly are still together.

"He wanted to take us to Vegas".

Chelsea without Drinkwater for Qarabag visit
They face a much bigger test this Tuesday, but they would love nothing more than to upset Chelsea on their home track. Antonio Conte opted for a change after 73 minutes as Zappacosta replaced Victor Moses to make his Chelsea debut.

Woods denies the story took place, of course, but the story's out there.

He plays a 24-year-old dashing American, who becomes the object of infatuation for the 17-year-old Elio (Timothée Chalamet).

Woods eventually commented in the only way he knew: by claiming that Tamblyn was lying, and that he really loves Hammer's work. "I'm 16' I said". They were together for over six years and met because she was the daughter of one of his best friends! "The second is a lie", he added over Tamblyn's claim.

But this time, celebrities, including Hammer, fired back at Woods's predatory sensibilities and his hypocrisy.

President Trump's latest move vs immigrants
Former President Barack Obama wrote in a statement to his Facebook on Tuesday that "u$3 ltimately, this is about basic decency". They argue that Obama overstepped the constitutional authority of the presidency.

"Somebody told me the libs (liberals) are yelping (over his initial tweet)".

The inciting incident was a Sunday tweet from Woods commenting on a gay conservative's opinion that Hammer's new movie "Call Me by Your Name" celebrates adults having sex with teens.

He also tweeted that despite their disagreement, he likes Hammer "a lot" as an actor.

Even without James' stamp of approval, "Call Me by My Name" received huge applause at the Toronto Film Festival.
