Justin Trudeau warns Boeing over trade dispute

Theresa May will hold talks today with Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, to try to head off a trade dispute threatening thousands of British jobs.

Mrs May will meet Canadian PM Justin Trudeau in Ottawa to discuss "cementing a strong trade and investment partnership", the Government said.

Bombardier is Northern Ireland's largest manufacturing employer, and the Canadian company is now entangled in a dispute with rival company Boeing - which has made a complaint to the US Trade Commission about alleged anti-competitive practices.
