Not only that, but CBS All Access had a record number of sign-ups because of the new show.

The first two episodes of "Star Trek: Discovery" will be available on-demand for CBS All-Access subscribers after the show's premiere. That in turn capped the streaming service's best week and month ever in new sign-ups.

But just as quickly, those plans were thrown into doubt late Friday by news that the potentially decisive vote, Sen. Insurance rules that protect people with pre-existing conditions could be loosened through state waivers.

Johnson: This story stays strictly on the Klingon side of things, going into more detail about their perspective on the Federation and the state of play as the show begins.

"While Discovery is fundamentally quite different from much of the Trek that's come before, its engagement with the franchise, and willingness to both celebrate and examine its core values, keep it true to that spirit". All 15 episodes of Star Trek: Discovery will be available to watch on Netflix with Klingon subtitles, it was also revealed.

Our main focal point is Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), who was raised by Vulcans after her parents were killed by Klingons (which doesn't seem to make sense in the timeline we have).
